I Work Along With My Clients’ Physicians

Most primary care doctors know that nutrition, stress reduction, weight management, and exercise are important. They tell their patients to lose weight, cut out sugar, and participate in stress reducing activities and exercise. However, physicians are not able to spend the time to keep their patients accountable and encourage them along the way to make changes more permanent. Unfortunately, our current medical system is one of sick care and uses a band aid effect of pharmaceutical drugs, plus over the counter medication to help patients temporarily get well. Health coaches help patients heal underlying conditions and partner with clients to find healthier ways to make small, sustainable health changes that add up big over time.

IMG_0051In my health coaching practice, I focus on empowering my clients to realize their potential for a healthier lifestyle. The first step is for you to fill in the Health History Form, (you can find it under the program tab). During our first meeting in person, by Skype or by phone, we will review your health history so I can learn about you and your unique needs. Once we determine if we are a good fit to work together, we will decide what program/s work best for you.

You can look on my program page for the different options that I offer. We will discuss them at our first meeting. Some of my clients prefer to work one on one with me and others choose to do my group program. Some clients choose to do both as they like the idea of the group support but also need to address certain private issues one on one. My program is not all about food and is not at all about counting calories. With that said, my 10-Day to 12-Week programs do have an element of calorie counting so you can understand more about portion control and be accountable to me as your coach and ultimately yourself to reach timely goals.

One session with me may help move you in a healthier direction. But, a firm commitment to a 3 or 6-month program, both in time and finances, will propel you forward to make small, sustainable changes. In turn, you will reach your permanent goals. I know you can do it! I will be there all the way.
